When editing online web forms or online PDF forms on FormCan, we’ve incorporated convenient keyboard shortcuts and quick actions to save you from unnecessary clicking and scrolling. Enjoy seamless form editing at your fingertips.

Keyboard shortcuts: They’re preset in your computer system, such as “Copy” and “Paste,” “Undo” and “Redo,” and “Select All.”

Quick actions: These are special shortcuts similar to those found in popular drag-and-drop editors. For example, holding down the
Shift
key while dragging to maintain alignment.

You have access to a range of keyboard shortcuts in the form editor page.

Quick actions
Here are a few examples of useful quick actions:
Movements | Quick actions |
---|---|
Move widgets pixel-by-pixel. | Select the widget, and press the ‘arrow key’ (↑ ↓ → ←). |
Select/deselect the widget belonging to a selected group. | Press SHIFT and click the widget. |
Bypass the snap when moving widgets closer together. | Press SHIFT and drag the mouse. |
Simultaneously select all the other widgets. Please note that this feature only functions when the widgets are part of an option list or drop-down. |
Double click the desired widget. |
Currently, the Copy, Paste, and Delete operations can only be applied when a single widget is selected.
